Elizabeth Brigham has been working in the real estate field for over 40 years. Elizabeth started as a title abstracter before becoming a real estate paralegal. In 1987, after graduating from Campbell University School of Law in Buies Creek, North Carolina, Elizabeth moved to Bryson City. Her practice concentrates in the areas of real estate, estate planning, estate administration and probate, guardianships and incompetency proceedings. Elizabeth is the court appointed Public Administrator for both Swain and Graham Counties. Through the Council on Aging, she provides wills free of charge to senior citizens who qualify for the program. Elizabeth has testified as an expert witness in the area of real estate law, has served as a Judge in tribal court and adjunct professor at Western Carolina University.
Jonathan Mattox is a native of Bryson City, North Carolina. He has been practicing with Brigham Law Office since he graduated from Vermont Law School in 2016. Jonathan is a graduate of Appalachian State University, with a B.S. in Business Administration, and a graduate of Swain County High School, class of 2008. While in law school, Jonathan was an intern with attorney Billy Richards in Bryson City, and the firm of Ridenour & Goss in Sylva, North Carolina. Jonathan's practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and other civil matters. Jonathan wife, Callie, is a teacher at Swain East Elementary, and is the daughter of Mayor Tom Sutton. Jonathan and Callie are the proud parents of one black pug, "Tektite".
